Schwab, E-RYT is a 500-Hour Certified Kripalu Yoga teacher with advanced training in
Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation, as
well as Theoretical and Applied Yogic Philosophy, and General and
Applied Anatomy and Physiology. She was introduced to yoga as a
teenager, but drifted from practicing after going away to college.
A deeper journey toward yoga and meditation restarted as her
children became school age. At that time she was competing in
triathlons. To bring some balance and stress relief, she began
incorporating yoga. It didn’t take long for her interest in yoga
to transform into a full-fledged joyful passion. She enjoys
practicing and teaching many styles of yoga, from gentle to vigorous,
always reminding students that they are experiencing their own practice,
to listen to the wisdom of their bodies and be guided by their breath.
Abby is continuously inspired by her students, encouraging them to
live a life of vitality, with humor, healing and wellness.
Abby currently resides near
Boston with her husband, their two children and the silliest cockapoo
ever.
